30 Minute Turkey Chili

Can you believe that 2018 is less than 60 days away?! Which means this year has flown by and Fall is in full swing.

Fall to me means Football (Go DAWGS!) #UGA, Food and Drink Festivals, and the most beloved Comfort Foods. Chili is my favorite fall food. There is nothing like a nice warm bowl of chili to warm you up on these cold nights, snuggled up in a blanket, and binge watching your favorite Netflix series.

This is my quickest and simplest chili recipe. It takes all of about 30 minutes and requires no chopping or dicing.

30 Minute Turkey Chili

  • 1 lb of Ground Turkey
  • Homemade Chili Seasoning Mix:
    • 2 Tablespoons of Chili Powder
    • 1 Tablespoon of Cumin
    • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
    • 1/2 Tablespoon of Salt
    • 1/2 Tablespoon of Black Pepper
  • 1 – 16oz Can of Black Beans
  • 1 – 16oz Can of Red Beans
  • 2 – 10oz Cans of Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies

  1. Brown your ground turkey. Grab a non-stick pot or large skillet and set it to medium heat. Once the pan gets hot add your ground turkey. Cook it until it gets brown and is crumbled.
  2. Add your seasonings. Mix in your seasons with the ground turkey.
  3. Add the beans and tomatoes. Toss your beans and tomatoes in your seasoned ground turkey and set the heat on high and bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer. Once your chili starts boiling, turn the heat to low and let the chili simmer for 20 minutes.
